Just found out that EE are making store staff go into work to use closed stores as call centres.

Thought we were all meant to be on lockdown

Again @Paulc195 GDPR regulations

They can control.who sees the information of customers if it is done in stores. They cant if it's done from someones house.

It is against the law for anyone else other than EE personell to see customers information. So if your son was at home and was working but he has a girlfriend there or a lodger they could potentially see it.

Yes he could say henwont let them but it's all about EE covering their backs from potential legal cases.

Hi @Paulc195

We currently have as many of our colleagues as possible working from home.

To keep people connected, and keep our network running, we continue to ask many of our contact centre colleagues to come into their place of work – where a number of measures are in place to keep them safe.

Thanks.

Leanne.

@bristolashley91 : Call centres are not disallowed; it's walk-in shops that are.
