Number only half ported

Hi there,

 

I am trying to port my number from Vodafone to EE but it’s a complete shambles!

 

Firstly EE posted me a SIM, but omitted half my address on the packaging, so after waiting 7 days they then sent me another. Finally got the SIM and managed to get it activated. Was told to ‘just make a call & everything will transfer over’ - that was last Friday!

 

As of this morning my original number appears to be ported to the new SIM, as the number it came with doesn’t work any more.

 

However, all calls texts etc are still being received on my original Vodafone SIM & I have turned both handsets on & off multiple times but nothing changes. So now I am paying 2 pho s contracts; one I want to leave and one I’ve just joined but would now also like to leave, as they appear to be an even bigger bunch of jokers than my original provider!

 

Please help me.....

@JulietW   It sounds like something has gone wrong with the port,  you’ll need to call EE customer services about this.    

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thank you Chris, apparently Vodafone have only sent half the information across; they have raised a complaint & it should be resolved within 72 hours 🤞.....
