No text to tell me about phone delivery

Hi I ordered a new phone and had email confirmation and a tracking number. The first I heard of the delivery was a call from the DPD driver saying he was here, I received no text the day before or if the delivery as told I would do. I had had an email but for some reason it hadn’t come through to my phone. I’ve tried using the tracking number but the website says that’s not available. I’m worried I’ll miss the next order as I won’t get a text. Is there any other way to track it so I don’t miss it again?

I'm sorry to hear that, the courier company usually send a text message to let you know roughly when it'll arrive.
What was the delivery guidance when you ordered, or have you not ordered another one yet?

Hi Chris, thanks for your prompt response!
The guidance was that I’d receive a text 24 hours in advance and then a text on the morning of the delivery, neither of which I received. The email I was sent said if I missed the delivery theyd leave information about rearranging the delivery or where to collect it from. I didn’t receive that either.

Ah, I didn't realise the delivery had failed, I thought you were organising another new delivery, @LaurenJohnston.
Our Mobile Care team will be able to give you a consignment number so that you ca manage your delivery on the DPD website/app.
