No delivery date or update

I placed an order on Monday and said it was in stock so should be delivered within 2 days. I have received the email confirming the order but nothing since. I have called EE and have been told there could be a delay up to 24 days!! I was not informed of any delays and I am very disappointed that I can not be given any confirmation of any delivery date. This is a present for my sons birthday

I have exactly the same issue as this other than I have not even been informed that there is a delay, rather there is a "Mismatch" between my account details and order. Phone lines are busy and not putting me through to speak to someone.

I'd recommend calling 150 to check your order. I don't currently have any information available for that model.

What makes you think there has been a mismatch? Have you received  message from EE?

Yes, I received an email as follows: 

 

"Hi Thank you for placing your order with EE. We hope to get your order fulfilled very soon, however there is a discrepancy between the Account and the order form. If you could please get the Account Holder to give us a call on 0800 079 0531, with your XKO ready. Our offices are open: • Monday - Sunday 8:00am - 7:00pm Thanks for your patience. We are looking forward to speaking to you and getting you started with EE. EE www.ee.co.uk"

Have you tried calling that number or did you call 150? It sounds like they need to speak to you to complete the order.
