I have booked in for my annual mot but I have no photo id last time I was in the ee shop they took a scan of my passport when it was still in date will they still have this and can they use this if I take other id

Is your driving license one of the new types (photo driving license) that's on a plastic card and has your photo on it?
If it is, then this should do, as normally when I need photo ID, it specifically mentions "passport or photo driving license".
