I received a new SIM card when I upgraded my phone to an iPhone pro max. I’ve put the new sim in and it is awaiting activation. Is there a way to keep my old number? Or should I have not activated this new one and kept my old SIM card? I can’t call or text for help because this one isn’t activated yet, and I can’t use my old SIM card either. Any suggestions?

if you’ve already activated this new one then use it. It makes no diff. The old SIM will now be deactivated.

Hi @Erobbins
Quite often, upgrade phones are supplied with replacement SIMs in-case, for whatever reason, your existing SIM is unsuitable or won't work - in which case you can activate your SIM online.
If your existing SIM fits your new phone, and works ok, then there is no reason to use the new SIM, and you are actually quite sensible to continue using your existing SIM.

Thanks for your response. What if I’ve already activated this new one? Can I just switch back and put my old sim in or is it too late?
