Hi - Ive ordered a new Sim with a new monthly payment for 24 months - do I need to do anything about my old sim - my contract has expired - and will my existing mob number simply move across? Thanks for any help 🙂
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @Richjaffa
Welcome to the EE community
Is your old SIM with EE or another network? The advice will depend on the answer - as below.
If your old SIM was with EE: You have taken out an additional line when you should have upgraded or just changed your payment plan. If you did this, then you would have retained your number as a matter of course. Your easiest course of action will be to cancel the additional contract under the 14 day returns policy (assuming you bought it online or via telesales), and then follow the upgrade process.
If your old SIM was with another operator, then you need to get the PAC from that provider and give that to EE. There's further information on this process on this EE help page
