My sim is not activated

Hi, I have had my sim for a while but today suddenly my phone keeps saying that my sim is not activated.

@Yousuf_Ali   Are you on contract or PAYG ?  If on PAYG when did you last make a call or send a text ?  If it’s been over 3 months then the sim card has gone into hibernation and you are going to need to call customer services so they can take it out of hibernation. If it’s been longer then 6 months There’s a very high like your chance that the same is fully deactivated and cannot be reactivated and so you will need a new Sim card which will result in a new number.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@Yousuf_Ali : Are you on PAYG? If so, it sounds like it has gone into hibernation.

 

When did you last use it for a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

 

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
