My daughter lost her phone at weekend in Newcastle and is on my contract I want to cancel her contract so I'm not paying for something she ain't got

Welcome to the community. I'm sorry to hear about your daughter's phone.
I recommend contacting the Mobile Care team to report it as lost, so that they can block and replace the SIM card.

Sorry but you have to pay anyway unless she is out of contract.
Losing your phone doesn't give you a right to cancel free of charge.
You have to pay off the remaining months left on the contract.
But I suggest calling EE to blacklist the phone and block the sim card so no one can run up a huge bill.
Also if you check your house insurance it may be covered thee where you can get a new phone.

Just to point out you are liable for any charges until you notify EE of it being lost/stolen, so I would recommend you do this ASAP.

@petercampsall20 Call customer services have the device blocked and request a replacement SIM card. You then only need to get a cheap phone that you can put this SIM card in.
