It still says my old iPhone 11 in the app, not my new iPhone 13?

When I go into my account with my new iPhone 13 Pro Max, it still displays iPhone 11 on it (which was my old phone)
the number is correct but the model is still the wrong one
How do I change it?

@MisterBigMack : The device shown is only cosmetic & does not affect your use of your device. It will change eventually after you connect using your MyEE app from the device.

Yeah I know it’s only cosmetic, I just was wondering if eventually it would ever change?
My new plan has been updated but it still says the old device on it
will it ever change?

Hi @MisterBigMack.
The app will update your phone model, I would recommend for you to keep using the My EE app on your new device for this to register.
Katie 🙂

I have the same problem. Finally upgraded my old iPhone 6 to a new iPhone 13. But after installing the My EE app on the iPhone 13, it still says iPhone 6. Will it change automatically if I am on a sim only plan?

@XRaySpeX Yes I did read the answer. How long does it take for the change of phone to appear on the app? And does this still apply to a phone bought separately from EE? i.e. if you are on a sim-only plan?

@Newrynyuk Yes, it applies to phones bought separately from EE. It does for mine.
