I ordered my phone on the 23/10/20 and had a delivery date of 18th to 23rd now that's gone and its now saying awaiting confirmation its been 4 weeks now???????

I'm in exactly the same boat. I did read a thread somewhere that says that often happen 24 hours before dispatch so fingers crossed.

No nothing Kristie, still just "awaiting confirmation". 

Just getting the standard response from EE - that i'll get a text from DPD when it's ready. 

I'm seriously considering just cancelling the order, buying a phone direct from Apple and getting a sim only deal from a different provider (on principle). It would actually work out a lot cheaper overall, especially as Apple offer 0% credit! According to the Apple website I could pick the phone up in my local Apple shop on Saturday, so no delays there!

Yeah the same here. I have spoke to someone on Twitter from EE this morning and he has basically told me there’s no stock of the gold or blue. 

I have thought the same as you. I checked apple the other day and I could actually save money buying the phone direct from them.
