Iphone 12 pro max 512gb

I'm interested to know of anyone has received their iPhone 12 pro max 512gb yet? I ordered mine in Pacific Blue over 3 weeks ago. Still says my order is on track but still no estimated delivery date. The scripted responses from EE are no help at all. Just wondered if this spec of phone actually exists 🤔

You just don't get it do you?

Apple are doing this exact same thing right now so what you are saying is everywhere should just stop selling the iPhone?

This is business and how this works. It's how it's always been for Apple. It's how they do things it's how they always will.

If you don't like it cancel your order and go elsewhere where you'll have the same issue but be further back in the queue.

Well said Brendon!  It is the same/similar with Glastonbury tickets and London Marathon places - there are simply not enough to go around (supply and demand again!).  Every year people complain, moan & say it's not fair.  At least with phones & gaming customers WILL get what they want eventually as long as they are patient.  Patience, however, seems in short supply in this market.

It’s not about patience. Read the posts. It’s about being blatantly lied to in order to get the sale. Being told your phone will be with you within 24/48 hours then after weeks of calls still not having a phone, all the while EE site claiming it is still in stock. This has been changed over last few week to confirm “up to 28 days delivery” however it still claim they are in stock and sales are still telling people 24/48 hrs. They told my son on Friday he would have his Sat or Mon, blatant lies, only when your cash has gone do you get the truth. That’s what the complaints are about, nothing to do with patience, I’ve been waiting a long time, I’ve paid, I understand business, I’m in “business” it’s lying I can’t abide, and suck ups trying to defend poor business ethics.

No suck up here.

I don't buy my phone's from EE they only have me on a sim only contract.

I get my phone's direct from Samsung. But they have the same policy as Apple can't keep up with demand either.

It's business which you don't seem to get at all

Places don't just stop selling phones because Apple can't keep up with demand.

No one guarantees phones on certain dates anyway. If you read the T&C's it's all estimates and the word usually is used a lot.

Not you'll have it.

If you buy your phones direct from source, how can you make such remarks about not promising delivery times? I suggest you listen to those who have been made this promise by EE. Stick to facts not your own conjecture. Read all the posts.

Because as I have said and you seem to skip over instead of reading my whole post.

The phones come straight from manufacturers. EE are not holding onto them.

The timeframe is the same regardless if you buy direct from source or from EE.

It's BUSINESS if you care to actually understand it.

Unfortunately @LeJarde this is exactly my experience too. I've been lied to 3 times now with an EE Manager apologising (at least) to me for the whole mess.

I've got no problems with waiting - as long as my expectations are managed and I'm not lied to. This is what good businesses do.

I’m glad I’m not alone in this thought, as I say it’s about transparency.
