Ipad Pro 5G

Hi All,

Only a quick one...

Just didn't know if anyone had started receiving any information around the processing &/or shipping of their Ipad Pro 5G pre-orders that they had made yet?

Just for reference and comparison, I have ordered the 12.9 Pro 256GB on 30/4 at 1:21pm (when the website actually loaded showing the 5G's as order-able! 🙂)

Yeah I had another email from EE saying my order is on track at 10:59am this morning, as well as saying they're still awaiting an expected delivery date.

I did ask that my comments be passed on for feedback on transparency and generic info in place of actual info.

I'll let you know if I hear anything on front of my own notes to them.

It is a shame, but there we go.

I'd still be interested to know when you do receive yours though, so I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Not a clue i'm afraid buddy - I think all orders just go into a hat and names/order numbers pulled at random at EE.

I was going to say "Photos or never happened" haha, but it seems she's uploaded a photo of the box yesterday. I hope she's enjoying it! 🙂

All we can do is wait patiently for our name to be called! 😂

So, on and off with the Twitter team and the digital sales team. Basically - it’ll arrive when it arrives. One guy told me could be next week, could be next month. Useless. 

 

Almost cancelled but then my better angels once again told me to not be so impulsive. I too could get one at my  store. 

 

It just frustrates me that preorders were opened - we ALL placed early on and they’re still using the we’re waiting on stock coming back in. They’re not waiting on it coming back, they’re waiting on it full stop. Just feels like our time and business is being wasted.

I think that’s the 11’’ that @lakingsfan82 got.. my local EE store apparently had those in stock too.

Oh it was the 11’’….that makes sense!

I might cancel my order from EE and order elsewhere. 

update: just spoke with EE cancellation team. They said I have to refuse the order once it’s delivered. Obviously, so that you can change your mind once you see the device.

 

The problem is that EE lies to the their customers. I asked on Wednesday and was told it would come on Friday. Yesterday and today people from the customer team say they don’t have any estimate. Vodafone and O2 managed to deliver, EE which is an official Apple partner couldn’t. 

@nortonandreev , are you sure that Vodafone and 02 have received the 12.9 IPad Pro and it is not the 11 inch one, as Apple are having difficulties getting the hardware for the XDR display, so there may be some delays.

 

I am going to wait and see what happens, as I am sure we should hear something soon, it is the weekend, so would suggest you wait until after the weekend.
