Hi,
I currently have PAYG and need to change to get onto EE internet calling via a data sim only deal, problem is I am on a limited budget and my motorola smartphone is not supported. Anyone know the cheapest smartphone that is supported on EE, to enable me to get going?? Thanks.

@Gongoozler You’ll not get a data sim only deal and have WiFi calling as calling is not part of a data only sim contract. It’s data only.
All the contract devices on HERE have WiFi calling. Even the good as new devices even the cheapest one at £14 per month.
as for you using a device you get yourself to use with a sim only contract that’s going to depend on how much you have to spend as not all devices are supported unless they have EE firmware on them and it’s only really the more expensive ones that don’t need EE firmware to have WiFi calling.

Hi @Gongoozler
When you use EE WiFi-calling, your calls are charged in exactly the same way as if you'd dialled them over the mobile network.
The ability to seamlessly continue calls between the 4G-mobile network and WiFi-calling, relies on this being the case.
As @Chris_B has already mentioned, you will need to purchase a plan with a call allowance, and that allowance will be applicable to all voice calls, regardless of whether they are dialled over the mobile network or WiFi-calling.
