I purchased a good as new Iphone 6s from EE 3 months ago. Last week it would search for but not connect to wifi even though pc, wifes Iphone and tablet were all connected via the same router. Still will not connect even though I have gone through everything recommended to rectify this online. i.e. Toggle wifi off and on, restart, forget network, turn off airplane mode, restart router, etc, etc, Still not working, cannot access social media, you tube videos, etc. Yesterday I put it into our local phone tech shop. Is there a problem with an internal aerial in the phone? should I be experiencing this with an albeit old phone but only 3 months old sold by EE?

Hello @ALOIS.
Thanks for coming to the community.
I am sorry to hear this is happening to your new phone.
Have you tried connecting to another router to see if this is successful?
Speak soon,
Katie.

The wheel, top left hand corner next to 4G just keeps endlessly searching.

I know you've mentioned that you've tried a few things already, @ALOIS.
Have you tried resetting the networks settings?
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings > Follow prompts.
Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris,
I have tried resetting the network but still no joy.
Guy at the phone shop says that I need the wifi chip replaced.
Regards,
Graham.

Was it the EE shop, @ALOIS? Or an Apple Shop?
May be worth speaking to our Tech Gurus to run through your options.

Neither, It is our local phone repair shop as I cannot get to a main town.

I have now had to purchase another mobile as the one purchased from EE on 6th of June, 3 months ago, is unusable and requires repair. It will not connect to wifi , local phone shop says that it requires a replacement wifi chip. Surely it is covered by some sort of warranty?
