My phone has been telling me it's charging but was lying. It has now gone dead. I tried backing up but it ran out of power. Now I'm told by Huawei it has to have a factory reset (losing data) Any suggestions?

Hi @RobertGH,
You may not be able to factory reset the phone if the battery is dead.
I'd recommend contacting Huawei to discuss your repair options.

Yes. I tried 5 different ones. Each time the phone said it was charging, but wasn't. It is now largely dead. If I press the power button I briefly get the red flash symbol with the circle. The red light at the top pulsates a couple of times then gives up.
It's slightly frustrating that all avenues to getting repair/replacement seem to rely on get messages to my phone!
