Hi does anyone know how to disassociate/unlink phone number from old android phone so it can I’ll link with my new iPhone, was shown how to do it a while back as my wife’s phone required the same but I’ve forgotten how to do it 🤦🏻, the reason being I’m not receiving text mags from android users such as my mum for example, thanks in advance 👍
Historically, mobile phone numbers are associated to physical SIM cards so the phone which receives calls to the number will also receive text messages to that number.
WhatsApp and Facebook messages can end up going to the wrong phone after a SIM has been moved.
