How on earth do you log in to Apple Music with Smart Benefit

Just received my confirmation of my upgrade. Also a text saying my Benefit is now active and to follow the link to verify my account. Click the link asks me to open the app...I do this and it just keeps asking me to log in....Can anyone advise how to get the 6 months free. I am going crazy and getting nowhere!

Could you try clicking the link when connected to and not connected WiFi, just to see if the link works?

 

Are you using an iPhone?

@Sconnie86  Have you created an Apple account ?  You need this for the  Apple Music smart benefit to be applied to your Apple account.
