How long is an Apple Watch pay monthly add on to plan last for?

I want to add an Apple Watch to my pay monthly phone plan but cannot find any information on how long that plan will last?

Will it last until the watch is paid off or will I pay monthly for it forever until cancelled?

@Soooophie  The Apple Watch contract is a 24 month contract.  Just like you phone contract and when you reach the end of that contract you can upgrade to a new watch contract or move it to a sim only.   The sim only for a Apple Watch at present is £7 per moment and it’s a 30 day rolling contract madhouse get 10Gb of data.

So £30 a month for 24 months is £720 !! Shocking when can get the same watch £399 from Argos… and this is without any extra min or data as this was just a add on to my current contract 😡..

Simply take a more favourable price than an unfavourable price?

I typically never buy devices from service providers due to lack of control over some other devices in terms of network locking and firmware.
