No, you can't! You cancelled your BB package with EE of which your landline number was a part. You should have just ported your landline number to BT 1st. This would have auto cancelled your BB with EE.

Hi @Tuffy267 ,

Historically there have been circumstances under which this can be fixed. Please consider cases such as the below as you discuss with BT and EE. Good luck!

It would seem OP did not follow Ofcom mandated migration route by cancelling EE before applying to BT.

A post from 2017 about a BB switch and losing the phone number in the process is not the same as a cancellation/termination and then setting up with a new BB provider.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi @Tuffy267,

Assuming you haven't yet given up on the situation and I would expect that most people would have by now. There's a check you can do which is mentioned on a ticket unrelated to your situation, and not matching your situation, but the check may still be relevant to find out where you number will have reverted to (assuming your number appears there).

If you want to check to see who actually owns your phone number, then

If you have a quick look at the OFCOM website :-

http://static.ofcom.org.uk/static/numbering/index.htm#geog1

and download the spreadsheet that contains your number range (note the numbers exclude the leading zero). The line in the spreadsheet will show to whom the range is allocated.

You can then see if it is BT Retail who owns your number.
