How can I unlock my EE phone that I have ?

hbuckley
Explorer

Hi

A while ago a friend of mine gave me a Huawei Phone. Its a P20 and its on EE. I need to get this off EE and onto another network but neither I or my friend has an EE account and I am told that he has no further details of the phone or its contract etc.

How can I go about this and will there be a cost ?

Regards : xxxxx xxxxxxx

@hbuckley  you need to call customer services to request this to be unlocked there will be a unlocking fee of £8.99 and it will take up to 10 days.    This is your only option with a secondhand device.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
