Hi - my mums dropped her phone this morning and the screen is black but still vibrate etc when we try to reset. Because we cannot use her old phone, is there anyway to get the data off it? Photos and messages etc...

@Xoxofyfe   Is the device being backed ?  This could be via Google if it’s been enabled on the device.  Have you tried using a PC to backup the device?   What device is it ?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Unhelpfully she isn’t sure... I’ve tried connecting it to a laptop but doesn’t show.! It’s a Samsung A40

If your Mum isn't sure whether she's backed the phone up, there's probably a good chance she hasn't.

If that is the case, and your laptop won't connect to the device, the data may well be lost.

Was the phone being used with an SD card, perhaps some of the data might be on there rather than the phone itself. And have you checked your laptop connection using a different USB cable and/or port?

That will just eliminate all the variables.
