I feel your pain!!

I'm so annoyed about ee tv and the lack of communication and any accomodstion to allow continued use of the boxes.

If your leave other providers like talk talk for example their freeview boxes continue to work .

If you go on ebay there are humax and bt boxes  that's are similar. There are also talk talk and plus net you view boxes.... They have replay and record etc and very smiling and freeview based. I've just ordered one and now looks to switch providers.

Its a very poor effort and apple TV is a streaming based TV thats is lacking any outstanding qualities a smart TV cant do . Its a joke of an alternative.

In the long run buying a box will be cheaper and least noone can stop the box working like they will with the ee boxes.

My new bt box coz 42 pounds and can record replay etc and worth every penny . Ee has made a massive error here .

Apple TV has nothing freevuew related.

Sorry if I were you I'd ask for a refund and get a humax or other freeview box.

It has the Apps: BBC, ITV, All 4, and My 5, so that you can watch the programs. You can still watch programs either live or delayed. Most modern TVs now have freeview included, so not sure what your problem is, or do you have an old TV that does not have freeview?

You can also get a recorder, which is what I did, so that I can record two programs at the same time, of course, this depends how much you can afford.

As has already been mentioned, the EE TV is outdated and has been superseded by the Apple TV, and the EE TV will not work after the end of March.

Where you see the apps, you will see those ones, and if not, you can add them from the App Store.

Hi The BBC is only bbci player which isn't live tv . Im using apple box . The apps are ok for catch up tv but not live tv Sent from my Galaxy

You need to sign in via the web with the code it gives you when you click on IPlayer and then once logged in, click on the channel you want to watcn and can then watch live, whatever is on freeview, have just checked it myself. This is the same for ITV, 4, and My5, as have checked them all. Hope this is helpful to everyone.

This is an excellent reply here, it would be strange going back to live TV. I have kept my Sky Q subscription, and now have the broadband with Apple TV with EE. Best of both worlds, but to be honest I can't remember the last time I watched any live TV using Sky Q. Perhaps the news broadcasts but again these can be viewed by creating a sign in account and watching via the app on any screen in the house.
