Having a new number issued to my sim card

I am upgrading to a newer phone with another provider and taking my number with me.

Can EE issue me with a new number so that I can keep my old phone as a backup and retain my account balance?

Hi @Nancyd and welcome to the community

If you're using the PAC process to take your EE number to another provider, this will serve to cancel your line with EE.

What you do with your existing phone is upto you, but EE won't be asking for it back.
