Got my new upgraded iPhone today but no sim, is this right please

Will your existing, presumably working, SIM fit in your new phone?

 

If so, use it. EE often supply a replacement SIM with upgrade phones incase there is a problem with your existing one. But there's no purpose in replacing a perfectly working SIM.

Just use the old SIM if it fits.

This is normal with upgrades, as you can just keep using your old sim card.
