I ordered black pro with 256gb on 26th. They told me that it's gonna be ready for collection from EE shop this Friday from 1pm.

I've ordered via online upgrade chat.

But I didn't received any text or DPD notification yet.

Hope it's not gonna be delayed as they said to someone here...

Ordered my 256gb Pro on Saturday and haven't received any update aside from the preorder confirmation. So annoying

A) When did you order, and,

B) It's immaterial anyway, as the 128GB still has stock.  It's the 256GB that's now OOS - so this is going to mean some people who ordered a fair bit later than others, WILL get handsets tomorrow, whilst others who ordered earlier, will NOT (if they ordered the 256GB)

What a wonderful system. 
Should be like Samsung - in order to secure device on launch day, you have to order before a specific CUT-OFF date around 1-2 weeks prior...

Ordered my 256Gb Pro in Black on 23/10. Was told would receive it on launch day. Online tracking didn't update. Received SMS at 7.15pm this evening confirming handset would be delivered by DPD tomorrow (exactly as Customer Retentions guy I spoke to earlier said I would). Online tracking still hadn't updated but status has now gone straight from "Order Confirmed" to "Order dispatched".

If you ordered over the phone and were told you would get the phone on launch day, I would imagine the chances are that you still will, even if they're leaving it very late to get the handsets dispatched.

I ordered pixel 6 pro 128gb when it was £67 due to price error I called to have the 256gb for the same price 

Was told I won't cancel the 128gb unless I'm sure you will get the 256 model on release date 

Well found out tonight I won't be getting it for another 14 days cheers what a balls up it has been 

£50 compensation added to the bill misssold..
