Website currently saying delivery within 14 days for the 256GB Pro version, but that wasnt the case when I ordered.

I'm in exactly the same situation as you - except haven't actually phoned EE yet as I'm worried they're going to say exactly the same thing haha.
What a **bleep** up if true, probably will phone tomorrow to cancel order and move providers.

I've ordered 256gb on 26th. I was told I'll be delivered to EE shop this Friday for sure.
Since I got no update or DPD notification I contacted EE support an hour ago. Guess what... It won't be delivered on Friday. My order is currently delayed by 7 days. Only thing what they can offer ATM is 25 quid credit.
Very unprofessional, seems they accepted more orders than the initial delivery from Google. But misleading customers is not a good thing anyway. I'm thinking about cancelling and moving all my numbers, broadband and TV to other provider as it's a bit too much apart from other issues with them in last couple of weeks...

This entire situation has me baffled. I ordered my 256gb Stormy Black on the 23rd. Ordered was confirmed on the 26th with an email telling me it was "winging it's way" to me. When I ordered it said due to receive on launch day..........I paid £380 to upgrade early and I've took time off work expecting it to be delivered today. Had heard nothing from EE yesterday so I called CS team. Was told that some orders are on back order now with expected delivery within 14 days. The part that's confusing me is that surely when you order something the stock gets allocated to the person ordering it? When I asked the CS agent that exact question I was told that's not the case, it's done at random??? I've been with EE / T-Mobile for 16 years and this has been the biggest mess of a launch since I can remember. They offered me £20 due to failure of service.......
She was able to check the stock levels in store but according to that particular agent there's none due to be delivered into the EE stores?? Surely that's a joke right?
Don't suppose someone from customer service could respond to the several questions surrounding this topic?

Just checked the tracking via the EE website this morning having ordered the 256GB model on 21st - now showing as dispatched as of today. Hope this gives an indication to others when they should expect theirs.
