I'm off to Spain on Saturday, which is the whole reason I pre-ordered the P6P 256GB...

As my Phone Cover has arrived, but clearly not the phone itself, I've decided I'm going to take the pixel case on holiday with me, and take comic/scenic photos of it in various locations, with a strapline akin to "wish you were here {undelivered Pixel 6 Pro}", and also tag EE, Marc Allera, and @madebygoogle in each time!

What would make it even better is if they sent me some form of "cease and desist" message whilst I'm posting them all to Twitter, so I can tell them 'I didn't get their message, because that too was "undelivered"'.

PMSL - it should be fun though - so I'll be tagging my Pixel case in various Tweets this coming week in Benidorm, along with GooglePixel, EE, and  Marc Allera. 😂

I have since been in touch with a chap called Bob from EE customer service and I've got some more bad news. They're now saying upto 28 days for delivery as opposed to the original tag line of 14 days!

Honestly, I can't believe it. You genuinely couldn't write this. Sure as hell they'll be charging us our new tariff prices tho!

Oh hell that is even worse. Could have moved to a different network if that was the case. My tracking hasnt updated as well. Ordered the 256 Pro model. Tried to ring customer service multiple times but it's straight to voicemail that theyre experiencing a high volume of calls. It's insane. I would have thought EE had a well respected reputation not to do this to their customers.

I've cancelled my order with EE. Walked down to my local store and picked up a nice new Pixel 6 pro! CHECK YOUR LOCAL STORES folks!

Only the base model 128

Gets more interesting. Had this online on twitter

....

Perfect, thank you. That has let me into the account. Just for reference, the account number is

I've had a check on the account and it's giving me conflicting information. On the account it's showing as an open sales order, which is the status that would show before a device is dispatched, however in our ordering system it's showing that the order has been cancelled. There are no notes however to show why this would be the case.

I want to make sure that you get the support that you need with this, and our digital sales team are best placed to look into this further to establish what is happening with the order. If you give the team a call on 08000790531, they'll be able to help look into this for you.

🙈

System twisted it is. Pixel 6 pro 256 black ordered on 23rd. Assured it would be in my hands on 28th. Been told now it prob won't ship for another 14 days but I have an email from EE saying they expect my Pixel 4 XL to be returned by 11 November as part of the exchange deal. If not returned they'll add £110 to my bill!

I've contact Google to see if they can shed some light on what's going on and also to see what's going to happen about the free headphones for the pre-order ('coz obviously we need the handsets in our hands to claim them)

Only had 2 phones from EE and this is by far the worst experience ive had with them so far.

I was told my 6 Pro pre-order would arrive on the 29th and that i would receive a text from dpd. So far i have zero updates and no phone. Are there any delays we should know about?

No one at EE seems to know. I have been given conflicting information depending on who I speak to.

On Twitter DM all they would commit to was hopefully not as long as 14 days.

Then I spoke to customer services who said that it would definitely not be as long as 14 days as there should be a phone with my name on that's not been picked yet, so it should be with me on Monday (having been told on Thursday by someone on the phone that it would definitely be delivered on Friday).

It's astounding EE have no idea what they have, where it is, when it's coming in/going out.  If they only had a certain number for on launch delivery then they should have stopped saying that when that number had been pre-ordered.

There has been radio silence on the twitter DM since I asked whether they would be offering anything to those affected such as a discount on tariff or an additional smart benefit. But very quick to email out saying unless current phone is received by them by 11 November they will be adding £££ to the bill.

It's shambolic.
