Google Pixel 3XL delayed

Hi EE,

Online tracking says my pixel 3XL (128 Black) is delayed to 7-8 Nov.

I got an email not long ago it was going to be delievered on the first.

What's going on?

Might just cancel my order and go ahead and get next day delivery via Carphone Warehouse.

just been on live chat to EE and i asked for an update of my order, told me the same thing about ‘first come first serve’ to which she then replies ‘orders are going to take some time’ so no one get your hopes up just yet!

Quick update!

I went ahead and cancelled my order and purchased the Pixel 3XL via Carphone Warehouse and will be with me at 12! I did the maths and it actually worked out £200 cheaper over the 2 years and I get the phone today instead of at the end of the month! 

Win win situation!

Did a live chat few days ago they told me to cancel my order, go in-store show them the online offer I cancelled and they will match it. Great idea since I was in town yesterday. The only problem was no pixels available in-store either. I checked the EE store near my work as well today and they also don't have it. Thank god I didn't cancel my pre-order. 

I can see many people on here suggesting carphoneware house, which of course had phones in-stock, why wouldn't they?  Unfortunately they could not match the offer EE gave me.

Personally I think EE should've ordered more than 9 phones from Google.

There's some new offers on the 3XL, cheaper tarrifs and vouchers for £50 off the up front cost. When I asked to move to the offer I was told to cancel my order and place a new one with a new three week wait for the phone. Got my PAC code and off to the Three store to get a pixel 3 xl immediately.

EE I hope you read this, you've lost an orange customer from the early days. You don't care about me so I'm going to stop bothering with you.

Same. I've been a customer since Orange. Now I'm with O2. Amazing deal and I have the phone in hand already. Cancelled my order and everything. 

This has been the most disappointing experience with EE yet. And whatever. 

I'm done with them.

I've been onto EE customer services and been told the pixel 3 xl black is now a 28 day wait, and the white is a 21 day wait, they suggested I go for the Mate 20 Pro as they have that in stock. The other phone they have in stock is the white standard pixel 3.

I will just to wait, as I have set my mind on the pixel 3 xl, and as I am on the 12-month upgrade plan, I can't cancel and go to another network/shop.

i've just been on the online chat with EE and had a whinge.

i upgraded on monday to the 3xl white and told it would be delivered within 14 days.

however i got an addtional phone on the 'share plan' i have but it only had 1gb of data and was gunna gift some of my new data to that one........couldnt do that without having the phone first.

the iphone turned up yesterday (06/11).

seemingly the whinging worked after i explained that how am i expected to gift data from a plan i cant start til the new phone arrives......just had a text through phone getting delivered tomorrow.

it maybe against your nature as it is mine, but having a ding dong with them seems to work as seemingly they have the phones in stock and are only giving them out to however cries loudest.
