Gifting data from sim only plan

I currently have a s10 which is coming to the end of the contract, I'm happy with the phone and want to go over to a 12 month sim only plan, my question is as lead on account will I still be able to gift data to my children who are also under my account plan?

Yes, as long as you upgrade to a SIM only contract and not just take out a new contract.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I looked to upgrade but the sim only contracts are for 24 months and I only want 12 months, I would be looking to upgrade to a new phone in 12 months time. Can I get 12 month contract which gifts data?

It does not matter whether it's a 12 / 24 Month, SIM Only or SIM with Phone Contract as long as all the SIM Plans are all on the Account (Family Plan) then any one on the Account can Gift and Receive Data, assuming of course each individual Number has enough Data left to Gift.
