Galaxy Watch - worth it?

My partner wants to get a smart watch to monitor fitness and listen to the radio (primarily Radio 4 and BBC World Service). Is Galaxy Watch able to deal with the radio without having a phone by your side and is it worth getting for other reasons? Apologies if these are really naive questions

Hi @Daddyjammy1

Welcome to the community 😊

I hope you're well and having a nice day, are you up to much?

You can listen to the radio on a Galaxy smart watch without your phone, all you'll need to do is download a radio app. Smart watches are becoming more and more popular and are a great way of staying connected on the go.

You can take a look at the smart watches we offer on our Pay Monthly Smart Watches page.

Thanks

Chris

@Daddyjammy1  You’ll need Bluetooth headphones to listen to music via the watch.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thanks Chris. Can you get BBC Sounds on it? Wasn't sure if you can only get certain apps or if it's just anything on the Play Store. That's what we use all the time

@Daddyjammy1 I've looked into this and it doesn't look like BBC Sounds has a smart watch app yet I'm afraid.

Thanks

Chris
