Ending mobile contract charges

Yazidie

I'm looking to leave EE for another provider but I'm confused about final payments etc. I obtained my PAC code which stated I will be charged £24 for ending the contract early. My contract ends on 6th September and I just made a manual payment to cover the final bill so I'm not sure why I would be charged for this? Can someone clarify?

If your no. is ported to your new network before 6 Sept you will be liable for early termination charges. However as your Aug bill will cover a month in advance it is likely you've already paid more than them & will probably be due for a refund.
