I got my new phone at the end of November and all of a sudden my earphones don't work in my phone, not at all happy about this and can't seem to find anywhere to talk to anybody about this issue.

@Charlotte73 Can you try a different pair of headphones? And can you try these headphones in something else? At the moment you don’t know if it’s the headphones or the phone itself.

The earphones go into my charger Port therefore cannot try any other earphones as I can't afford to buy these same ones and also my charger works fine in my phone so can't see any other issue other than the earphones themself.

@Charlotte73 Not necessarily as the contacts for charging are not the same ones used for the headphones.
All I can recommend is you to turn off the device and very very carefully clean out the port with a toothpick/needle and then turn on and test.
If they still don’t work after this then unfortunately it’ll be classified as neglect as they did work when you’ve got them and things don’t just break on there own. You could try and take it up with the manufacturer.
