EE Smart Router and SSIDs

Just upgraded contract from BB1 to EE smart router.  Whilst being 'sold' this service on the 'phone I specifically asked if the new router would support multiple SSIDs as the BrightBox did (8 in my case).  After being put on hold, I was then assured that the new router would indeed allow me to configure multiple SSIDs.

Having now setup my smart router, I find that I only have one SSID broadcasting on 2.4 and 5mhz.  I can't even split that between the frequencies.

Does anyone know how to unlock the capability to have multiple SSIDs on this router, or have I been deliberately lied to when signing up for the new contract?

Yes, you have been lied to. There are no multiple SSIDs and VLANs on EE's Smart routers unlike the BrightBox.

Which EE BB package have you switched to? If it's an FTTP 1 you could still use the BrightBox 1.
