EE Multi SIM - terms, and what is included.

I am trying to switch from O2 to EE using the EE Multi SIM deal, but during the process, there is no information about charges for services such as;

Roaming (calls and data) in Europe

MMS message costs (NOT pictures or emojis - just long texts over 160 characters)

Tethering

Without knowing, how am I to decide to go ahead?

Please let me know how to access this information.  I'm eager to make the switch!

Thanks

PAYG or contract?

What's "Multi-SIM"?

Look in View price plans for EE mobile services

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Multi Sim is the name of the monthly contract being offered by EE.  There is no reference to the same contract anywhere on the site.  I really need someone at EE to tell me the terms of the contract and answer the questions I posted.

Below is what I cut from the proposal.

I think it just means you've been sent a SIM containing all 3 sizes of sIM & you press out the size you need. All EE SIMs start off this way. Beyond that it is just a normal 10GB data SIM-Only plan.

I still can' find answers to two key questions

1.  Is tethering OK.

2.  Are SMS messages longer than 160 characters chargeable?

Once I know this I can switch.

Can anyone confirm?

Question regarding long messages refers to text only, no picture or emoji content.

The phone is Pixel XL.

  1. Yes.
  2. SMS > 160 chars are sent as multiple SMS & are charged accordingly.

Pricing can be found in the latest T&Cs, here

Some phones convert longer texts to MMS but that's a phone setting. If it does you get charged.

You can find roaming costs here: https://ee.co.uk/help/add-ons-benefits-and-plans/call-or-going-abroad/roaming-costs
