Hi,
When I receive a new Voicemail I get an icon at the top of my screen (like a recording sign). I want to disable this permanently, and be notified purely by text when I get a new voicemail, I have done this on my o2 account but would like to do it on my EE account too. I believe its a network setting, rather than a phone setting......but I can't find the option with my Voicemail settings like I could with o2.
To clarify, this is not about the Icon 'sticking' when I have no new Voicemail, this is about disabling the Icon all together.
My phone is a Samsung S21.......any help appreciated.
Thanks

Hi @rob588cliff
Welcome to the community
The voicemail spool that you refer to, is standard behaviour on all EE phones, and can't be disabled.
The text message notifications can be toggled on/off in the voicemail menus, as you have already identified.
