Credit change

Hi I've just logged in to see that the credit on my bill has changed. I am currently on a sim only plan for £15.58 but have recently changed on 18th Sept as I have bought a s21. The new s21 plan I have gone for is usually £39 per month however with the friends and family discount I get it for £27.30 per month. I'm just wondering how it's changed to £34.42 credit. Can someone please explain this to me? Or what it means now it's changed? I didn't think it would change until my phone is dispatched as this is what I was told. Thank you in advance.

I've been unable to get through yet but will try again later.

I'm wondering if it's because I recently sent a £50 upfront charge for the new s21 as it's took my current sim only price off that which is £15.58 and that is why it's now gone to £34.42 as my total bill charge.
