Connecting 4g lte router to EE network

dhp1953

Hello, I am hoping someone can help me.  I have a NON EE 4g lte router than I want to use to boost my signal.  I have put my phone sim in the unit; but can't get any internet connectivity with the EE mast.  What id and password should  I be using?   I have tried my normal EE online name and password for updating my account and balances.  Can any body point me in the right direction?   Things my router ask for are:  APN:    USER NAME: PASSWORD and AUTH Method....

Thanks, Darrel

Hi @dhp1953

Welcome to the community.

Check out this where to find your APN settings article, it should tell you all the information you need.

The APN Settings (Access Point Name) are generic settings to each Mobile Network Globally to insure correct Connection Settings to each Connected Device, these setting do not have any relevance to your EE Account which are more Personal to yourself.

Put these settings in the Router, some Routers refer to them as APN or just Profiles within the Routers Settings under Admin Login

Name: EE internet
APN: everywhere
Username: eesecure
Password: secure

these should be enough to get you connected and up and running, if not report back.
