Good Evening,
After upgrading my phone today, I have been attempting to register an account on the EE perks website; however, whenever I try to register the account, I get the message 'Sorry, there was a problem. If the issue persists please check that your internet settings allow 3rd party cookies.'
I have tried to register on multiple devices, made sure that cookies are not blocked and triple checked all of the details are correct (which they are) but i've had no luck. No confirmation email has been received to confirm that the registration process was successful.
Please can you advise how I can obtain access to the website?
Thanks,
Chris

@Chris_Hirst Any perk discount has to be applied at the time of upgrading you can not add this once you have already upgraded. You can still register though but if your having issues customer services should be able to help you.

Hello Chris,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I was informed by the EE employee that I can obtain a code after renewing my contract and add this by calling 150 and stating I have an EE perk code. The problem I’m having is that I can’t get on the website though! I’ve seen on the forums that others have had this problem but they were fixed after a private message was sent (which I cannot see).
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @Chris_Hirst
Welcome to the EE Community 😊
I hope you're well and having a good day, are you up to much or just having a chilled one?
Could you please try clearing your cache and cookie and re-trying the registration?
Thanks
Chris

Hi @Christopher_B ,
Thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately, I'm working!
As you have suggested, I have tried clearing the cache and cookies but it's come up with the same message.
Do you know if there's anything else which can be done to access the site?
Many Thanks,
Chris

Thanks for trying that @Chris_Hirst.
The error you're getting isn't one we generally see so we have no fix for it. However I'm sure we can work it out.
Are you using a VPN or anything when trying to sign up?
Thanks
Chris

@Christopher_B - I haven't been using a VPN. I've tried through my phone, my girlfriend's phone and on my laptop (using a mixture of mobile data and Wifi) but it always comes up with the same message.
Kind Regards,
Chris

Thanks @Chris_Hirst
As you have tried multiple devices and still having the issue, I would advise having a chat with our customer care team.
They should be able to look into this a little further and hopefully find out what's going on.
Thanks
Chris
