Calls are barred from from my phone

Ninjitsu

Hi Guys,

I changed my phone contract from pay monthly to PAYG 30 days before moving abroad (Asia). The final pay monthly bill was settled after i have already landed abroad unfortunately.

Accidentally I have forgotten to use my phone for 2 months and received some messages from EE that my phone has not been active. Tried to send messages / call people from my UK number abroad now but find that all calls are barred. I can use whatsapp on the UK number, so technically I think it's not lost (yet). Found some solution online and rang the free EE phone +44 800 079 8586 but it was also barred. I don't really want to lose my UK number - please help!

Thanks

@Ninjitsu : Did you use that PAYG SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad? EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.
