Apple SE Watch

Hi I want to add an Apple Watch SE to my existing plan.  I was planning on gifting this watch to someone else, they do have an EE account, was just wondering will they be able to use date etc from their existing plan or will there be an additional cost to them?

Welcome to the community.

The person who you give it too will need to add a data plan to their account costing £7 per month to be able to use the watch as a standalone device.

If they were looking to use the watch with Bluetooth, there would be no extra cost to them.
