I live in Spain, my phone was stolen a couple of weeks ago, i had my mother send me a new sim card but i cant activate it using the new phone, what is the solution? Is the issue that I'm abroad and can't activate the SIM as a result? Or can it be remotely activated by EE themselves?

Is the SIM card pay as you go or pay monthly?
Did you order a replacement SIM card with the same number?

Thanks for getting back to us.
Your SIM must be activated in the UK on the EE network before being used abroad.
Once abroad the SIM can't be remotely activated.
