APPLE WATCH ORDER

Hi I placed an order for an Apple Watch SE pay monthly on my phone contract on 12th October but I've heard nothing since. I have gone on to tracking but it just has an update of "your in stock order is confirmed" dated 12th October.

It has been over a week now and would have expected to hear something as it said usually despatched within one day. Is this normal?
