For the last month or so whenever I’ve looked into upgrading my iPad I’ve been met with an error online saying that the upgrades are out of my budget
Many of these upgrades are the same price as or less than what I’m paying now so if they are out of my budget it stands to reason that my existing device also is (which would be a ground for misselling which I am sure EE are not suggesting to be the case)
When is what I have to assume is a website issue rather than misselling going to be fixed?

Good Afternoon @greenbadger.
Welcome back to the community.
I am sorry to hear this is happening when you are trying to upgrade with us.
Since taking your current contract has your account with us been up to date with payments?
Have you taken any other contracts out after your iPad?
Are you looking to upgrade to another iPad?
Speak soon,
Katie 🙂

Hi Katie
To answer your questions
1. Yes my account is up to date and has been since taking the contract
2. Only upgrades since the last upgrade on iPad. No new lines. Some add to plan lines but they are clear now
3. Tried another iPad or other tablets

Thanks for confirming @greenbadger.
The best people to check this for you would be our customer care or upgrades team who have account access.
As everything is up to date, it indicates there may be something else stopping you upgrading.
Katie 🙂
