5G on Dual sim mode - iPhone 12 Pro Max

It was reported that Apple were working on a patch to allow either the embedded SIM or the physical SIM to use the 5G radio (If in a 5G area) while the other SIM uses 4G as the radio is capable.

 

It was 'coming this year' that year is now over and I haven't yet seen any update on this.

Is this still coming?

That is a question for Apple.

 

EE has no say in the patch and Apple will release it when it's ready.
