£5 pack Oct 2021

Could someone confirm that I will be getting three times the data (1.5GB instead of 0.5GB)  for my repeating £5 pack.

I got a message saying this but there is no info on £5 packs on the web and you can’t buy them on the web, only £10. Maybe I’m cynical but I wasn’t expecting things to get better!

I am being asked by the forum software to tidy this thread up but I am just waiting tor 150 to call me (Thank you Christopher) then I will know the status.

What I think is happening us that the 12 "boosts" of 100MB seem to be accumulating in a way that I was not expecting - they are showering me with 4 a month now!

Therefore the "Your next pack" is now showing as 1.7GB which I think is 500MB basic plus 1.2GB ie 12 of these boosts.

I will await the help desks confirmation.

£5 pack is still shown as 250MB in the info that I finally found in the link here

hopefully erroneously.

Hi @Peter_Watthey

What does it say when you text BALANCE to 150?

Chris

Thank you for replying!

I had a text yesterday saying I now have new 500GB new pack on monthly repeat.

Text Balance to 150 says 1.3GB incl 182MB rollover

EE App says I have 982MB balance which seems to be the 500 +182 rollover plus 3 free 100MB boosts

The Your Next Pack details in the EE app say it will be 1.6GB. last week it said my next pack (the one I just got) would be 1.5GB which prompted my question.

As I said the public information on the web only mentions the £10 pack and upwards.

It seems to be one holy mess.

Thanks, @Peter_Watthey

I'd recommend speaking to our Mobile Care team so they can check your pack from our side and make sure you're on the correct one.

Let us know how you get on.

Chris

I tried the Message/Chat service but PAYG does not qualify. That only leaves calling 150 and I really do not want to go through those sort of details on the phone. I am 70, and don't understand  well if the help desk is not English native.

I may leave it a month and see what comes out next.

Thanks for the help you have given.

Peter.

There isn't a 500GB pack. Do you mean 500MB?

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Yes, That would be nice though.

Ok had a great call from Emma and confirmed that the next pack of 1.7 GB includes all the rolled over boosts. (Rolled over in perpetuity it seems)
The £5 pack is no longer available to new customers but my auto renewal by credit card entitles me to all the extra boosts

The official rate is 250 but while I’m getting 500 we won’t complain.
