Hi there I'm looking at getting a sim only contract the sim contract I want says it's for 5g phones only does that mean i can you the sim in my 4g phone but for 5g to work i will need a 5g phone

Hello @Samcross1234 and welcome to the community
You are correct - you need 3 parts for 5G to work.
1: Be in 5G coverage, 2: Have a 5G compatible phone, 3: Be on a 5G plan
If any of the 3 parts are not present, your phone & plan will work on the 4G network.
