Hi
I've recently purchased a Samsung S21 and use my fingerprint to unlock and use my phone.
However, I have forgotten the lock screen pattern which is needed if I were to switch the phone off/on.
My fear is that if my phone were to be reset of turned off, it would become inaccessible.
Any ideas on how I can change/remove the pattern?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @AdsAfz,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
You can also unlock your phone remotely using Find My Mobile. For more details, please see www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/i-cant-unlock-my-device/.
Hope this helps.

If you've forgotten your unlock pattern you'll need reset your phone & lose all your data.

Go into settings and change your pattern. It should only ask you for your fingerprint for security.

If that don't work go and change the unlock security to nothing and then out back to fingerprint it'll ask you how you want the backup unlock again and you can choose a pattern again.

Thanks @James_B. You're an absolute life saver.
When I went to the URL the instructions were so explicit. Searching Google and YouTube was of no use in finding a resolution.
