4GEE availability and signal integrity

Good Afternoon

Un usual request for help, but here goes. We are looking for alternative phone/broadband  to our BT openreach which is provided across fields over 6 telegraph poles . These poles need to be removed in order for the building of houses adjacent to our property. I am loath to agree to the removal without having a secure alternative phone and broadband service.

The signal checking app says we can get 4G indoors and out of doors, however we dont get 4 G indoors - old farmhouse very thick stone walls !!4G is available outside.

What is peoples experience of the 4GEE service, speeds? throttling of speeds at peak times, unlimited data costs?

Many many  thanks in advance

Paul

Surely OR are going to provide an replacement line, probably underground?

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Yes OR are but phasing of work is all out of sync, plus developeris going to pay for all new 4GEE if its a go-er. The other issue is we are the last on line from the OR exchange so existing BB is poor 5-8 Mbps at best. There is possibility to connext to developers Fibre network at 300Mbps, but again not yet!  Timings etc and may not be able to provide to a none development property ie me!

Thanks
