Hello, I have a 4GEE Wifi Box which I want to use within my Shed Office.
Can I buy a normal 30day Rolling Sim only contract and put that in the box?
Also, my husband has Unlimited GB on his phone contract, so if the Sim Only was in his name, can he can gift data to that Sim Only account for me to use in the 4G box?
Thanks

@ParS19 The sim will need to be on your husband account but it’ll need to be a contract sim 12/18/24 months not a 30 day rolling contract as these are not included in data gifting.

Is the 4GEE WifI Box a 4GEE Home Router? If so, you can't gift to those even if it has a 12/18/24 month SIMO.

It's a 4GEE WiFi Router box, the one that has a SIM card in it. Looking at my EE account, it has a mobile number assigned, has texts, minutes and data assigned... so not sure how a Sim Only won't work?

No reason for it not to work. What do you have in it at the mo'? A PAYG SIM?

Currently have the sim that it came with when we brought it.
It was a 18mnth contract, which I've given the 30days notice on and it ends on Friday.
Currently paying £68 a month for it, but if I can put a low data Sim Only card in there and do a 12mnth contract, and have my husband gift data to it each month, going to save us so much money, especially when it's only in a shed during working hours.

That should work.
£68 pm seems a lot to be paying for it now.
